Bronx, N.Y. – Aug. 22, 2016– WCS’s (Wildlife Conservation Society) Wild View Photo Blog has chosen the finalists for the 2017 Wild View Calendar Photo Contest. Public voting is now underway to determine the 12 winning shots taken at WCS’s Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Zoo, and New York Aquarium.   

 

All qualifying photo submissions were judged by WCS on visual appeal, composition, and originality to determine which would advance to the next round. The best of the best will be chosen by public vote to determine the 12 photos to be featured in the 2017 WCS Wild View calendar. The winning photos and photographers will be announced later this summer.

 

Winning photographers will also receive a WCS Family Premium Membership and five copies of the printed 2017 calendar.
