WCS’s Zoos and Aquarium Open Registration for 2015 Spring and Summer Programs
Programs are available for children of all ages

New York –– April 2, 2015 – The WCS (Wildlife Conservation Society’s) Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Zoo, and New York Aquarium have opened registration for family, youth, and camp programs for the 2015 spring and summer season.
Programs include age-appropriate hands-on science activities, animal encounters, exhibit visits, and arts-and-crafts. Early registration is recommended as space is limited, and programs will sell out quickly.

Programs at the WCS Central Park Zoo include:
Toddler Time (ages 2 to 3, with adult)
Spring Series:
Tuesday, April 21 to Tuesday, May 26 OR Saturday, April 18 to Saturday, May 30
Time: 10 to 11 a.m. OR 11:30 to 12:30 p.m.
Fee: Members: $180; Non-members: $$210
Kinder Kritters (ages 4 to 5, with adult)

April Autism Awareness Family Day:

The Wildlife Conservation Society’s Central Park Zoo - Open every day of the year. General Admission is $12 for adults, $9 for senior citizens, $7 for children 3 to 12, and free for children younger than 3. Total Experience Admission is $18.00 for adults, $15.00 for senior citizens, and $13.00 for children 3 to 12. 4-D theater admission is $4.00 for members and $7.00 for non-members. Zoo hours are 10am to 5:30 pm, April through October, and 10am – 4:30pm daily, November through April. Tickets are sold until one half-hour before closing. The Wildlife Conservation Society’s Queens Zoo – Open every day of the year. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors 65 and older, $5 for kids 3-12, free for children under 3. Zoo hours are 10am to 5pm weekdays, and 10am – 5:30pm weekends, April through October, and 10am – 4:30pm daily, November through April. Wildlife Conservation Society's New York Aquarium is open every day of the year. Summer hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Fall/winter/spring hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., daily. Tickets are $11.95 per person (ages 3 & up), and include Aquarium admission plus one admission to the new 4-D Theater; children age 2 and under are admitted free. Fridays after 4 p.m. in the summer and after 3 p.m. in the fall, Aquarium admission is by pay-what-you-wish donation. The aquarium is located on Surf Avenue at West 8th Street in Coney Island. The New York Aquarium is located on property owned by the City of New York, and its operation is made possible in part by public funds provided through the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
